Custom made, high end shop interior @ PC Hooftstraat in Amsterdam (NL)
JSPR was commissioned by Azzurro Group Amsterdam for a ‘carte blanche’ conceptual design of a new multi-brand store for men located on Amsterdam’s luxury shopping street: the P.C. Hooftstraat.
The client wanted the three level building, measuring 240 square meters, to be divided into three different experiences where they could showcase a boy toy collection running from Alexander McQueen and Balenciaga, Common Projects to Vans Vault and gadgets such as high design cameras and luxury headphones.
The three levels were divided into a street style basement, fashion ground level and a tailor-made luxury Hollywood style at the first floor. The overall design and colors are very basic and all based on a steel frame which flows through the whole store, from the basement to the top floor. The frame acts as a guide through the three levels and connects the different styles. Fixed to the frame are store furniture such as display cases, shelves, glass domes and decorative lighting including old-fashioned bulbs and custom-made neons.
In addition, every floor has its own remarkable pieces such as custom steel cabinets, changing rooms fully covered in mirrors, full rubber counter tops, messing mini bars /display cases and JSPR’s Cubics as a sneaker wall.
